Coming to a new place for the first time can cause some students to be nervous, asking questions like “Will I fit in here?” or “How will I engage with people who are different or have different life experiences than me?” In this session, we will explore topics of inclusion, identity, and the core values of Salisbury University. Students will also engage in dialogue about their own experiences, the importance of self-reflection, their understanding of these topics, and how these concepts converge to help students connect with faculty, staff, and other students so they can make the most of their moments at SU.

Rec After Dark

Keep the excitement going after the Class Photo at Rec After Dark! Explore Salisbury University's Athletics & Recreation facilities while enjoying one of the biggest nights of Orientation. Challenge your new friends to kickball on the intramural fields, cool off with free snow cones, dance the night away at the silent headphone disco, or jump into the action with glow dodgeball, glow volleyball, and glow basketball. You can also take a dip during open swim, enjoy pool games, and discover even more activities happening throughout the evening. Be sure to attend the Class Photo just before the event for important event details and extra chances to win prizes during Rec After Dark. It's the perfect way to meet new people, explore campus recreation, and make memories during your first week as a Sea Gull!
